DINOSAUR DAY!

Dinosaur Day at Porthcawl Museum is best described as a lively, family-focused, hands-on day where the museum turns prehistoric history into an adventure for all its visitors.

Activities this year included:
  • Dinosaur-themed crafts and making your own dinosaurs
  • Dino digs, where children can excavate buried dinosaurs & fossils
  • Dinosaur photo opportunities
  • Dino searches and creative activities
  • Archaeology Club, where visitors could get hands-on with local finds and fossils

As these photographs demonstrate Dino Day is less a formal museum exhibition and more a playful prehistoric takeover of the museum - especially aimed at families and aspiring Dino hunters!
